Geranium-class 42ft 12.8m double-diagonal mahogany on oak frames, epoxy-sheathed offshore power boat hull with unfitted original engines and deck fittings in storage.
Built 1956 as GERANIUM in double-diagonal mahogany, copper-fastened on rigid oak frames by James Taylor [Chertsey] Limited at Shoreham as an offshore powerboat racer.

Built: Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, Eng;and, 1956, for offshore racing. Offered for quick sale from long term dry storage to clear old-established boatyard with two Perkins P6 diesel engines removed during hull repairs. Two suitable six-cylinder turbo-charged Ford diesel angines are also available for an extra GBP 2,000.00. Cranes and road transport are available at the Weaver Shipyard, Northwich, Cheshire CW8 1LB GB.
Engines: Two Perkins S6M diesels are included in the sale.
Hull: The professional shipwrights removed all timber defects before epoxy-glass sheathing the hull and fairing the hull below waterline. Additional longitudinal timber were bonded to the hull at the waterline and gunwhales in preparation for use as a commercial working vessel. Plywood decks were constucted and sheathed. Ports and deck fittings are stored and included in the sale.
