Hull: Requires major steel repairs below waterline for future tideway or seaway work but completed 3-day, 29-mile delivery voyage on Leeds and Liverpool Canal under own power in August and could return after minor repairs to canal service with access to the entire Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
Engines: Twin Barrus Shire 50 2189cc 4-cylinder direct injection marine diesels, based on Yanmar 4TNE88. Maximum 36kW 48.3hp @ 3000 rpm. Continuous 16.4kW 22 hp @ 1500 rpm. DC starter motors, twin 12V 50 amp and 12V 240 amp alternators. PRM120 mechanical gearboxes driving 19" propellers on shafts. Engines completed a long canal journey without problems in August 2023.
Deck gear: Ingenious wheelhouse is lowered by hand by two persons for canal bridges. Wheel steering with Morse and Yanmar engine controls and gauges. Anchor, chain and winch. Small crane for loading gas cylinders, folding mast, mooring warps and fenders.
Safety gear: Electric automatic bilge pumps, fire extinguishers, smoke detector, life ring.
Accommodation: Stainless steel sink and gas refrigerator fitted in wheelhouse. Previous owner's domestic furniture removed. Aft cabin, full width main saloon, gas-powered water heater, generator, 240V ring main, heads includes, hot and cold water to handbasin and shower. WC with holding tank.
CRISKE was sold with an exceptional price reduction, after London live-aboard plans were abandoned at short notice. She is stored ashore at South Ferry Quay L3 4EE after delivery under her own power from Rufford. The 60t Bluepoint boat hoist is available for loading to a road vehicle or to return Criske to the Brunswick Dock, the Liverpool Link and the broad Leeds and Liverpool Canal. A major hull rebuild in Liverpool has been costed at GBP 23,000. Criske has C&RT status and could be navigated to any part of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. Road transport is immediately available.
