Seven berths in four cabins with control from the command bridge or the dual helm in the superb deck saloon.

Engines: Twin 6-cylinder Vetus Deutz DT66-E 170hp [125kW @ 2500 rpm] diesels, installed new in 2005 by Richardsons of Newport IOW, fresh water-cooled by heat exchangers and close-coupled to ZF-Hurth hydraulic reduction gearboxes with inboard American Walter RV40 V-drives reversing the drivetrain to short [2.74m] 38mm stainless steel shafts with stuffing boxes, remote greasing and water-lubricated cutless bearings, supported by bronze P-brackets, protected by sacrificial anodes, and driving fixed 3-bladed 22-inch diameter, 20-inch pitch, contra-rotating bronze propellers fitted with rope-cutters, delivering 10 knots when cruising at 2000 rpm on 5 gallons [18.9 litres] of fuel per hour.

Walter independently-mounted V-drives use coupled cardan-type constant velocity needle-bearing universal joints, fully encased and lubricated by a gear-driven lubrication system reducing engine noise and increasing engine room access.

Hull: Teak stem and 3-piece keel, mahogany apron and American elm hog; Copper-clenched carvel 1¼ inch mahogany planks above waterline, 1¼ inch teak planks below waterline on Canadian rock elm frames at 7½ inch [2.3cm] centres. Red Spruce engine bearers. Teak footrails. External doublers act as bilge keels. The deck is synthetic UV-resistant British Permateek, laid on marine ply over pitch pine beams during major indoor refit at Whitehaven in 2021.
